S.T.A.R. Puppy Program
Our puppy program has been revamped! Liberty Dog Training is proud to announce that all puppy classes starting after 1 April 2009 will be the AKC S.T.A.R. (STAR) Puppy Program! Dogs up to one year of age are eligible to enroll in the S.T.A.R. Puppy Class.

Puppies that successfully complete the program will receive the following:

• A frameable certificate
• AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy medal
• AKC Puppy Handbook
• Discount enrollment in AKC Companion Animal Recovery, a 24 hour recovery service if the puppy gets lost
• Subscription to monthly e-mail newsletter that includes training tips

Canine Good Citizens (CGC) Course and Testing
Open to: All dogs, regardless of breed, mix, or age
Human or animal aggressive dogs are not eligible for this class.

This obedience and socialization course will prepare your dog for taking the AKC Canine Good Citizens Test. Unlike our regular basic obedience class, this class will include introducing your dog to items such wheel chairs, walkers, large bags, etc. At the end of the course your dog will be receive the Canine Good Citizens exam. Upon passing, your dog will be eligible to receive a certificate from the AKC.

Class covers the following:

• Basic commands (leash walking, sit, down, come, stay)
• Turns on leash (which can later be used for off leash)
• Watch me
• Leave it
• Fun trick (hoop jumping, tunnel, roll over, bow,etc!)
• Grooming acceptance (required for CGC testing)
• Walking through crowds (required for CGC testing)
• Sit politely for petting (required for CGC testing)

Nutrition, chewing, jumping, biting, and other concerns are always welcome to be addressed!

Can't make it to group class? Have behaviors you want to address? Our private training is the solution for you!

Available in one, three, or six session packages.

Obedience package is 6 sessions, standard.

Evening and Saturday appointments available.

Child and Dog Safety
This class is designed to keep children safe around family pets, strays, and strange dogs.
